The hotel is conveniently located Zongfu Street, a short walk to the bustling Chunxi Road Pedestrian Shopping Street (and also to the Metro Station) and also IFS where airport shuttle buses stopped. (it only takes about 10mins walk) There are lots of eateries, departmental stores, shopping centers and even night markets nearby, very convenient! The hotel is big tall and from afar, you can see it. There are 6 lifts. We arrived at the hotel past 1am (as our plane landed at 1020pm at Tianfu Airport and after clearing immigration, we took the airport shuttle bus that took 75mins). We were welcomed by the friendly staff. And we were given vouchers for the welcome drink (which we could exchange anytime throughout our stay). We requested rooms to be near to one another, and all the 3 rooms were indeed near to each other. Thanks to the staff. And the rooms were quite spacious although a little dated. We had windows view and had a good bird eye's view from our windows. But beds were comfortable and we rested well. The toilet was ok, bright and provided all the necessary toiletries items. Quite good TV channels, local and international ones. But it would be perfect if they can provide a list of TV channels to guide instead of letting us to scroll through one-by-one. We also had the buffet breakfast at the restaurant (located at level 25, instead of level 2 due to the exhibition fair). It was heavenly. The spread was marvelous and great, so many things to eat, comprising of local, asian and western cuisines. Staff were friendly and efficient. This was also the place we got our welcome drink, which you can have softdrinks, fruit juices and even beer/wine! And on the day of our checkout, staff was so friendly and gave us souvenirs to thank us for bearing with the "renovation and setting up" works that caused us inconveniences. They also happily help us safekept our luggages as our flight was late at night but checkout at 12pm.

This was an older Crowne facility. I had a very nice suite. That was a surprise. It was very clean and well appointed. The price was about what I expected, but within line with what I wanted to pay. The people who cleaned the rooms were wonderful. I got food poisoning in Chengdu at a restaurant. They brought me a lot of extra water, etc. The concierge services were wonderful. When I booked, I talked to Kevin. He gave me a lot of information about Chengdu even before I got there. He referred me to Leo when I arrived in Chengdu. Leo really helped me a lot. Chengdu is so big and, if you are there to see the city, distances between places are long. The buses are full and the subway system is currently torn up to provide new lines. Leo hooked me up with a family who are taxi drivers. It was really easy to get from place to place. And, the cost, reasonable. Leo also gave me a lot of information about Chengdu that was highly useful. He really took time with me. When I was sick, I ordered room service a couple of times. It was inexpensive and timely. The food was good. The breakfast buffet is huge. Things are replenished frequently and there are interesting offerings both Chinese and Western. I feel that the "team" atmosphere of the hotel helped me make use of limited time in Chengdu. I was there for four days.

The property is located in a central spot therefore a perfect location for first timers to Chengdu. The front office and concierge staff were very polite, professional and provided amazing assistance. We had arrived early due to an early flight arrival time and front office staff were very kind in providing us with an early check-in and even upgraded our room to ensure we could rest after our long flight. All staff interactions were very professional however a Superstar thanks would definitely be required for Signe Johansen who was truly amazing ! A gifted hospitality professional skilled in multiple languages she assisted us with all our needs and ensured we had an amazing experience in Chengdu !

The only thing that I didn't like was there was almost no internet access through VPN. When I asked about it, one of the front desk man told me in official language that this hotel establishment forbids the use of VPN as per government law, and I was trying to break the law, again in very official language. He also said foreigners like me have to buy tickets for the Panda base visit. I spent 110 yuans on 2 tickets, only to find out that I am free to enter there because I am 76 years old already. I have mentioned this indigence to the front desk but there were no response at all.

Upon check in, we were upgraded to a bigger room as the room that we booked was considered too small, thanks to friendly hotel staff Cassie and Shawn. Hotel's location is superb, a short walking distance to Chunxi Rd with endless shops and street food. Breakfast is excellent with a good spread of Western and Chinese food. We particularly enjoyed the noodle station where there are many variety of noodle to choose from. Room is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. We got free souvenir on check in and check out.
